850 roof trim in need of makeover.

The trim pulls right off very easily. Start at the bottom of the windshield and work towards the back. You just kind of get your fingers underneath and pop them off.
I have read several different way to fix them Personally I look for a set from a 98 S70 for a sedan or V70 for a wagon and put them on. They have the rain deflectors on the side and they do NOT peel like the ones on the 850.
I have heard of people picking all the coating that is peeling off totally off and putting just plain black tape on them and trimming it to fit. I have also heard of people just polishing them after they peel all the old stuff off.
If I were keeping them, I would try the black tape and see how that works.
