S60 Things to look out for?
Hello,
I'm looking into buying a 2005 S60 2.5t with around 95,000 miles on it. I was wondering is there is anything to keep an eye out for before purchasing or any problems that may pop up soon. Thanks for any input.

Top failure items in aging S60's:
Timing belt, PCV system, Control arm bushings, Sway bar end links F&R, Upper Front strut mounts, Upper engine mount, Lower torque coupling mount, and other relatively minor little things...

I have similar car and miles. so far I have had these issues.
timing belt and water pump
blower fan
alarm malfunction
control arm bushings
front trans mount bushing
front abs ring
rad
warning bulb failure ..this message comes and goes and i think is related to the alarm malfunction and sometimes sunroof fails to open/close. If I turn car off this fixes the issue for a while.
pcv system
leak at thermostat housing
a weird studder that needs to be found...I think its ignition.

I have the same year/model..
Stuff I've done:
Fuel pressure sensor -replaced
Timing belt pulley went early
Control stalk replaced
Broken AC condenser overflow tube flooded my driver floor well for months - I thought it was the sun roof leaking.
Now I think I need new front shocks and I have a "clunk" noise in the drive train.
Other than that and the crappy mileage I get around town, it's been a good car.
