I'm one of the RWD 240/740 guys, so I don't usually (well, not ever, really) post on this part of the forum. However, because my boss sees me on the forum during all my breaks he thinks I'm an expert in all things Volvo (not true). He's talking about buying an S-60 around 2002 vintage, give or take, and wants to know if there are any compelling reasons to buy the turbo over the non-turbo, or vice versa. Apart from the obvious. I think he's concerned about known trouble areas, failures etc. He doesn't wrench on his cars himself and he's been driving Mercedes and BMW, so I guess he's used to getting ripped off on repairs. He just doesn't want any big surprises. Told him I'd ask the experts. Any thoughts will be much appreciated...
