Question 850 non turbo block in non turbo s70.

ok guys i got a bit of a problem..... i currently live in Mexico. i recently got an s70 from a friend to get around. the car at the moment (s70) is throwing blue smoke. so i thought old car must be the valves...i took the head off got a head gasket kit and sent the head off to get machined and get it checked and what not....... the thing is when i checked the piston to see if they had any play...well moved all over the place...i had the walls checked and they tell me i need to machine the block or get it re sleeved which cost way to much here in Mexico.. the thing is there are no s70s here and a lot of 850's in the junk yards here that have pretty good compression and the pistons are perfect

my question is can i use the 850 block with my s70 head.?

Yes. Check the PN on the motor.
