S60 Washer Bottle
My water bottle is leaking big time. Have easily found bottle. But how do you get it out? Have removed two large bolts from underside and small screw at filler cap. At the moment it looks like half the car has to come apart.[&:]
Below is a post I recently posted on another forum. When the bumper was off I could see that the washer bottle was very easy to get at.
I just removed it last weekend to change my headlight wiper motor ( I have the vadis software which was a great help).
-Remove wiper arms (Plastic folds up at bottom of arm and remove nut)
-Remove six clips on upper side of casing ( Push the center pin down then pull outer clip up)
-Pry off black trims ( they run from each end of your license plate to the left/right side) they just pop out with a little force.
- Once bumper inserts are off remove 2 bolts that hold bumper in place
-Remove torx screw in wheel well on both sides
-Pull the bumper forward while pulling both sides outwards so that the edges release from the bumper bracket.
Voila you're done!
Re-installation is the reverse order. Not too hard, I removed & re-installed myself without any help.
Cheers,
Raj
