Hi,
I'm Josh. I'm from the Nashville area. I just recently purchased an '04 S60R. I've looked several places online and searched the forums and I haven't really come up with any definite answers. I was just wondering if anyone on here is on coilovers? If so what brand and what kind of pricing am I look at for a full kit? I'd prefer not to modfiy the strut, I'd rather just get a full kit. I've read various things about KW, D2, and KSport and I just want the opinions of people who are using these or others. I did go check KSports website, but I was unable to find anything for S60's, let alone R's.
Thank you,
Josh

Hey there, No one makes Coilovers for the P2R's as we have the 4C active chassis suspension. If you we're to install coils, it will throw off all the sensors that input data to the SUM (Suspension Control Module) and will throw all kinds of codes.
I know of one guy here in the states that has coils on his P2R but it's a dedicated track car. And there are some guys in Sweden that have done some serious suspension work but I'm not exactly sure as to what they had to do in order to make them function properly. Look through on Swedespeed and you should be able to find some more info about it.
Unless you're going for a seriously slammed look, the springs from Elevatecars.com will get you low enough to look great and be functional.
IIRC, these ones will fit the R's but like I said, you'll have to find a work around for all the electronics.
