2004 s60r awd 6 speed.i falls flat on its face @ 3500-4000 rpms and backfires in between shifts took it to ind volvo shop could not find any codes???? cost me a 100$ for nothing resolved (madd) went to volvo last week they put in a new fuel pump&fuel presure reg silinoid under a recall i cant figure it out what should i check next. this dream car is nickle& diming me to death well not death!! help!!! e mail me please

My '01 T5 had a rough idle/surging idle problem that wasn't throwing a code either. Turned out to be the Throttle Body. Sadly, since it didn't have a code I couldn't get it replaced under warranty. They did clean it though and they replaced the ETM. Car runs/drives fine now.
