hi didnt do this when i first got the car to my knowledge or maybe its got worse it just doesnt seem very smooth now at low revs , will this be anything to do with the exhaust as im a bit worried
I doubt that is the problem. It might be the exhaust the back pressure might be slightly off causing the problem.
Since it is a manual transmission I would rule that out.

Like I stated above I wouldn't look at the tranny since it is a manual tranny. But you can change the fluid if you want.
As for the exhaust you only said it is stainless steal. But what about mufflers and cat all OEM or aftermarket parts?

I only suggested the trans flush because I thought that manual trans like fresh fuild once in a while...well more often than autos

edgey99: You have a turbo(T5)...so the exhaust should be a free-flowing muffler design like a magna flow...call up the guys that made the muffler and see if theirs is a free-flowing design or if it isa baffled design like a flowmasters. If it is a baffled design...take it back and tell them you need a free flow design, since your turbo'd.

hi again thanks for the reply i will do what you've said hope it all ok
how can i check to see if the mufflers are free flowing or baffled ,what would happen if they used mufflers on my car ,already had issues with this exhaust as it was of poor quality ie the welding so had this redone.
this was the first attempthttp://s510.photobucket.com/albums/s350/concalmum2/
this was the job they redone http://s510.photobucket.com/albums/s...2/exhaust%202/

You should be able to take a flexable tooland stick it through the whole muffler.. make sure it is long enough to go through your tip and the muffler.
If you interfer with a wall like on the flowmaster design, then you have the wrong muffler. Not sure if this will be a 100% accurate way to test.
Like this:

Straight through design (Like dynomax or magnaflow)

Baffled design (like Flow Masters)

Good luck.
