Could be what tech said: tune up?
you said the last one was in April....How many miles since then. It might need a Tune up
Check the spark plug gaps, make sure they are within spec: Gap0.028- 0.032 in. (0.7- 0.8 mm).
If it is not that....Iguess techcan help you again.

Edit: Tech did metion it is a "normal condition" for manual trans.

Im not sure what he means by that. Some cars you need to reset the adaptives but that can be done by removing power to the ECU for 10 minutes.

The computer adaptives need to be reset. Sometimes if they are not reset the computer will think the part has not been replaced and it will set the code again.

Either the special Volvo setup can reset it or alot of times disconnecting the battery will reset it as well.
Sometimes there is an ECU fuse as well if you pull the fuse and disconnect the power to the ECU it should reset it.

You can disconnect the battery and touch the terminals together for 5 minutes and try that.

You should not need a tune just for the exhaust.

Are you looking for a guage for reading the AFR's?

If so they are like $400.00 or more. You need to have another O2 sensor bung welded into the exhaust and have a wide band O2 sensor installed with the system.
