Service Alarm
I have message Service alarm soon popping when starting car, in addition to that sunroof will not open. According to some articles issue is alarm module located under right fender. Don't have time to work on that right now so wondering if it is safe to drive like that. Car is 2004 S60 2.5T AWD.
Yes, it's safe.
Sometimes those bad siren modules can make the lights flash when locked - but your problems will go away after you replace the siren module. (I would scan the car before replacing it to make sure it's really the problem, but it would be common for the backup battery to be bad after this many years. )
