immobilizer issue, car is cranking with no start
Hi to all you skilled people out there from a newbe in Volvo World
We just got an old (2001) but quite well maintained 2.0t that was not running nicely, guess I will come back to this idling issue later. Yesterday when we were testing the injectors (coils disconnected, and connecting 1 injector at a time to let it blow into a bottle) the car suddenly would not start.
Engine is cranking, appears to be pressure at the fuel rail but injectors does not open. Among all sorts of warnings (related to fault-finding), it is also giving the "immobilizer, check manual".
Any ideas where to start?
