Shifter not staying in place...
Hey all,
This place is fantastic, first off. Glad I found it. Fun to just sit and read through it all.
My first question (probably of many) is... I have a 2003 S60 2.4T. I've recently noticed that the (automatic) gear shifter doesn't want to stay locked
in place. What I mean is, it slips over to (semi) manual shift almost on accident. In fact, just a light tap of the finger gets it over to S-A. So, you can imagine
that occasionally, this causes problems. I'm winding out going 30 MPH, only to look down and realize my shifter has slipped to the left into S-A mode.
Wondering if anyone else has run across this?
Thanks in advance!

There is a plastic piece on the top of the shifter assembly just under the cover around the shifter shaft.
I have fixed one of them the other customers declined the repair.

The image isn't showing up, but thanks for the part number. I can at least take the part in to my repair guy, who would likely have to
order it. (Provided I can't figure it out.)
