Are you wanting to maintainthe stock ride or are you wanting something firmer, sportier? Do you want to maintain the stock height or do you want to lower the ride. Bilsteins and Konis are the most popular aftermarket upgraded shocks.

I have an 01 S60 with identical mileage and went with the dealer struts and strut mounts, very pleased with the smooth firm ride. If I had a T5 perhaps I would have considered something else. Just my two cents worth.

I replaced all my shocks and struts with factory Sachs parts from FCP. They have this stuff for a fraction of the dealers prices and have it in stock. Before you call them check Ebay as they have it listed cheaper there but they will sell it to you over the phonea as well for the same price.
