Sick of Faulty Rear Light Bulbs!

Default Sick of Faulty Rear Light Bulbs!
Okay, I use Volvo bulbs, dialectic grease and these things constantly go out. I tap on the lens or pull out the bulb rack and they light up. What gives and how can I fix this safety problem on my wife's car?!

I have a 1998 V-70 that goes through headlamp and turn signal bulb quite often. The former owner replaced the headlamps twice and I just replaced another less than 1 year old. I do not know of a fix.

Turn the daytime running lights off is about the only fix.
