I have a 2017 S60 T5 Dynamic with 18" wheels. I had a flat and realized there is no spare. So I went on line and ordered what was described as a black steel rim for S60 with 18" rims.
When we took it to have a tire mounted on it, we descovered that I was sent a 17" rim. The question is now what size tire should be put on it and is it ok to run a 17" wheel with the rest being 18".
I contacted the place I bought the rim from and they are of no help. The rim came in a Volvo box and is a Volvo part. Did they goof? or is the spare wheel supposed to be 17"?

Did you order a full size spare? or a donut? What part number did you order?

Here's the parts catalog page with the tire size - and volvo sells a complete spare in a bag with tie downs.

 

I ended up taking it to a tire store and they put a used tire on it. It is a full size rim. The tire they put on it measures up with one of the tires taken off the car. So I think its good. Thanks for the answers.

 

Full size steel rim? Didn't know steel rims were an option on the newer volvos. Interesting

2012 S60, the factory spare unit I ordered came in two/three parts. Remove flat trunk tray, insert new base, install donut spare, install narrow cover over tire. happy to grab photos if you like.
