Default Spark plug gap question

I just changed the plugs on my 2006 2.5t S60 the other day and i ran across a wide range of numbers as far as the gaps go. Which is best/recommended?

The manual a lot of people on the forums refer to: .0275
Ths gap Volvo sent them out of the factory with: .035
The gap the plug manufacture recommends (Denso in my case): .044
