SRS Warning Message
Hello all,
I am new to this forum. I did some searching about this issue before creating this post, but I could not find anything that matched my issue.
When I turn on my 2004 S60R, two messages pup up in the message area.
1. SRS-Airbag Service Urgent
2. Alarm System Service Required
I took it to a local shop and he told me that he could not connect to the control module to see what was wrong. So I took it to the dealership and they told me the same thing. They said that they could try to diagnose it with no guarantees and that it would be quite pricey.
Has anyone else had or solved this issue? Are the two messages stemmed from the same issue? Any knowledge before taking it back to the dealership and emptying my bank account would help.
Thanks!

Yes I did. He said he could not connect to the control module or whatever controls that message. They claimed they do not know how long it would take them to diagnose the issue, seemed as if they were not interested.
