1992 245 steering Rack rebuild or replace?
I have a 1992 245 with a worn out steering rack. I believe it is a CAM steering rack. I was wondering if it would be better to replace it with an older rack that is still good?
The replacement rack is a ZF style rack. Will this bolt up and work on a 245 that came with a CAM rack on it?
Is it easier and/or better to rebuild the original rack rather than replace it?
Any thoughts or previous experience points of view are welcomed.
