I have a 2004 S60R with 12K miles. I noticed this strange sound recently and am looking for advice on what it is (dealer gets the car on the 23rd). The best way to explain it is a slight clunk sound when I initially hit or left off the gas. Typically, I will let the clutch out and as the car starts motion I hear it, then if for instance I let off the gas I hear it again, or once I've shifted to say second I sometimes hear it. Thought it might be the top engine mount bolt but it looks ok but the sound makes me think of something like the mounts or with the suspension. Anyone care to weigh in?
