Struggle when starting
My Volvo is rumbling when I first start it. The whole car shakes, as if it is misfiring.
When I first got the car, the mechanic knew the fuel injectors were bad. He replaced the ones that were bad, The car used to cut out when accelerating. Since he fixed it, there was a little problems cutting out still, and the car was still rumbling for the first 10-15 seconds of running.
I replaced the spark plugs next. The old ones were nasty. And they were gaped to .050-.045. LOL
I still had problems starting. So I plugged in a volt meter. Found I was getting below 10.5V when cranking. So, I had the battery checked. Had a whopping 225CCA. So, replaced the battery with a carquest one with 600CCA for $85.
Still having problems with it rumbling. Temp sensor maybe?
