Strut mount/suspension problem????
I have a 2004 S60 and I have replaced the same strut twice within an 11 month time span, front passenger. What are the possible causes?
I'm not real car savvy but every time I say strut mount people get confused. It's the piece that you can see if you pop the hood. The foam under the top cap ripped in both instances. Cheap part from O'Reillys but man, this cheap or other cause?

Unfortunately you can only use quality parts for suspension repairs. I tried the same cheap parts and did the job twice and some repairs actually 3 times (Chinese lower control arms).
In my experience, I have been able to establish that everything automotive originating out of China is inferior garbage. It may look the same but definitely is not. The Chinese can nearly copy anything, except quality.
Stick with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer ) or original Volvo suspension parts.
