1. Ok welcome to the forum.

2. Is your s60 N/A ( Non turboed ) or is it a 2.5T or T5?

3. If you N/A ( Non turboed ) all you can really do is had a catback exhaust system.
2.5" mandrel or crush bent piping with a Magnaflow or Flowmaster muffler on the end. Or whatever muffler you prefer.

4. If your turboed then you'd want to do a full 3" turboback system. This consists of a 3" mandrel bent downpipe to a 3" mandrel bent catback exhaust system with a free flowing straight through design muffler on the end such as a Magnaflow or BORLA. With a turboed car you do not want crush bent piping you want the most free flowing exhaust possible and that is with mandrel bent piping.

5. If your N/A depending on the kind of pipe you use. What it is made from your looking at $300-$500 to have it made for you. If your turboed your looking at $500-$100 just for the downpipe premade and or custom made locally for you. And that catback your looking at $300-$1000 premade and or custom made. So expect to be dishing out the cash.

FYI, your car will never sound like a Mustang. Just get it through your head. You can make it sound nice but not like a Mustang.

Like I said above it's going to cost you some good money to gain that sound you want. Just slapping a muffler on is an option but while your going to gain sound it wont be good sound. IMO it will sound like crap. I would put the money into to do it right. You'll gain power and sound.
