I am hoping to go look at a 2003 s60 on the weekend. The seller claims that it is a T5 AWD. I can't find any info on such a car. Does anyone know if this was a model that was ever produced?

Also- how can I tell (other than badging) that a car is a T5 and not a 2.5T? (just in case the seller has replaced the badging on the rear of the car)

Sorry, just realized you're in Canada. I looked at their website, but they dont have the owner's info. Maybe the VIN decoder in above links will help.

 

Dont think they make such a vehicle, not positive though. Get the VIN from the vehicle and run a check on it, here is a link CAR FAX that is free, it will tell you the model of the vehicle.

 

I have never heard of a T5 AWD. The car must either be a T5 FWD or a 2.4 or 2.5 T AWD.

This car was in fact a 2003 S60 2.5T AWD.

And I bought it anyway!

I checked the VIN through Carfax and all looked good. Loving my first week of ownership.
