Default Tacky Leather Seats

Hi again everyone.
I have a 2002 and the leather seats are in fair condition. It's obvious by looking at them, especially the driver's seat, that the leather is really worn/stained. My beef is that since it's really hot here, in the summer, my clothing tends to stick to the seats. Also, they are kind of tacky/sticky to the touch.

Is there a way I can alleviate this problem, maybe soften and really condition the leather somehow without doing a whole restoration/replacement? I tried the Lexol cleaner and conditioner this evening and I think it made it worse.

Thanks for all your help!

The Lexol stuff is very tack for the first few days after.....

But the Lexol cleaner and conditioner works great for me
Put on the cleaner wait a few minutes then buff it...then apply the conditioner wait a few minutes and buf that.

Lexol is ok stuff.. I use this on my car. This stuff is to clean: http://www.bickmore.com/bickmore/Lea...are/Bick1.html and this stuff to condition: http://www.bickmore.com/bickmore/Lea...are/Bick4.html . This stuff is made just for reconditioning old leather. I belive the tackiness on your seats is from oil accumulating on the leather and turning into wax residue. That's common with leather and age. Make sure you DO NOT clean the seats with any water or any soap! This will just further dry and destroy the seat. With leather you try and keep it at a certain pH. That stuff is awesome. If you end up getting it, let me know what you think.

I found the little leather care kit by Bickmore. I just ordered it online. I'll let you know how well it works when I get the stuff in. Thanks for the referral!!
