Default Intercooler Pipe Upgrade

So i decided to mess around with the possibilities under my hood macgyver style. I made a custom cold air intake that puts the filter right behind my plastic fog light cover that pops right out. I made a couple slight bends with 3" exhaust piping and attached with some high pressure silicone or something like that my friend had used for freight turbo trucks with some clamps.

I was so happy with the result i started to make a custom intercooler pipe instead of the plastic stock one going over the engine. It goes from 2 inch where i connected it to the intercooler elbow and the turbo sleeve part and then I stretched it to 2.5" for everything but the parts where it connects. I made it with exhaust piping and the heavy duty hose again.

It definitely gets better airflow as it doesnt have as sharp of bends as the stock plastic. My only concern is im pretty sure exhaust piping is steel, and it gets very hot and holds heat for a while. Would i be better off with just the plastic eventhough it heats up quicker but cools quicker? The aluminum pipe that comes stock on s60R's looks to be the identical shape as my plastic one, just different mounts, do you think it could swap in my 2.4t?

Nobody knows if the s60R intercooler pipe will fit into the 2.4t??? I've heard of people doing it with the 850's somehow?

You should be able to install one on your car.
