Default Tires for 2005 S60

If any of you own this car or a similar model, what kind of tires do you have on yours? Are they low-profile? I'm looking to replace my worn Michelin hydroedges with something that creates much less road noise. The noise is just about to drive me insane.

Also, does anyone happen to remember what the original tires were on these cars?

Volvo is not a very quiet car to start with.. A worn tire is also always noisier

Michelins are usually comfortable tires. I have some XV4 and they are pretty quiet and comfortable, especially given the stiff suspension on a Volvo.

If you have a Discount Tire nearby they have an exclusive on the Yokohama YK580 and it is a great all season tire with virtually zero noise. If you push them hard you should get out the door around $600.

I don't think we have a Yokohama dealer around here, but I'll check. I live in the sticks. Thank you.
