Default Top Motor Mount

Hey guys just a quick question. I own a 2003 volvo s60 2.5L Turbo AWD. The bushing on the top motor mount (Next to the master cylinder) has started to crack and I want to replace it (Heard it's common with these cars) I wanna replace the whole motor mount assembly but I was wondering if i took the top motor mount off would i have to support the motor with a jack and piece of wood on the oil pan.

Thanks for your time.

No, you can remove it with no additional support. It doesn't actually hold the motor up, just dampens movement front and back.
