Default Trailer Light Kit Hook up

I've got the Tekonsha "plug-in-play" trailer light kit.

Tekonsha connecter kit
Is this a fairly easy connection to the wiring on the 2016 S60 wiring? Any videos that show the connecters of the S60?

check etrailer.com to see if they have any videos specific to your model/year.

they had a similar install video for another car is all. I think i get the gist (install in line between the existing tail light connection) of it but how do i thread a wire from the trunk all the way up to the battery on the S60?

You find a high amp B+ source in the trunk. A test light is your friend in this case. Maybe even a big red wire -

"high amp B+ " is what? The kit i bought wants to run a wire (included) from the box in the trunk to the battery up front so as to not overload the existing wiring. Is there a clear path for the wire to do this?

B+ usually refers to a Positive unswitched 12v source. (battery positive voltage = B+) And you would want a higher amp capability - a larger diameter 12v wire, preferably not fused (unless with one of the larger fuses). The REM (rear electronic module) in the trunk might be an easy way to power the trailer light adapter.

Where is the REM (rear electronic module) in the trunk located? How do i get to it? Anyone with a 2016 S60 got a picture of the location?

I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but trailer light kits can be tricky, especially when it comes to wiring. However, I'm glad to hear you're using the Tekonsha "plug-in-play" trailer light kit. If you haven't already, I suggest checking out truckelectrics.com for a wide selection of LED trailer light kits. That's a great choice and should make the connection process a lot easier. Good luck with the installation, and let us know if you have any other questions!
