Hello,

I recently purchased on trailer to tow behind my 2005 S60 to which I added an aftermarket hitch. I ordered and installed a Volvo wiring kit to control the the turn signals and other lights on the trailer. However, the Volvo manual says that in order to achieve the 3300 lb max. towing capacity, I need a trailer with brakes. I would like to add brakes to the trailer, but my question is: Does anyone know if Volvo makes a trailer brake controller kit, and, if so, how hard of an install it would be?

why would you want to tow that much weight with your s60?
anyway, do a google search for trailer brake systems most are universal.
