I did a whole flush today with Toyota T-IV transmission fluid. It was $5.55/qt at the local Toyota dealership so I bought a 12qt case. It was much easier than expected. The transmission had 3qts. I refilled the 3qts then went through the whole process of pumping 2qts out through the low pressure radiator return line, then filling 2qt and repeating the process till I was out of my case. The transmission seems much smoother as I dont think the old fluid had ever been changed and was as black as it could get. I need 0.2qts left to fill it to full at the hot level. Probably put 50 miles on it after the flush and all seems much better.
