hi, I have a 2001 volvo s60 2.4T and its in great shape except the black plastic trim surrounding the body of the car. Has anyone had any experience with painting that DIY or at a body shop?

I would like to do the same. I have an 03 s60 in silver, on which I would like the trim painted. I am thinking of just removing the plastic, finding the right paint, and taking it to a body shop. I hope it doesn't cost too much.

 

I have though of doing the same thing. I would like to hear some success (or horror) stories before I go into this venture myself.

 

There are a few options.

1. You can take the trim to a shop and have it painted your OEM paint color.

2. You can use Forever Black. Which can be bought from IPD USA.
