Check Engine light came up, went to autozone and found the two codes (P2178 and P2188).

Apparently both lead to the same possible causes and I want to fix this issue myself if I can:
1. High Fuel Pressure
2. Canister purge solenoid stuck open
3. Failed HO2S

The check engine light came up when the car started to have unstable idling, it runs OK above 1000 rpm, but when idling, it can get unstable easily.
Not sure how related the following is, but it looks like stepping on the gas pedal lightly doesn't work, I think this is related to the near- idling performance of the engine issue.

And lastly, the automatic transmission slips sometimes, mainly with the third shift. I can't find the way to check the transmission fluid level and hope the fix is going to be as simple as replenishing the transmission fluid level.

None of my charts go that high I am trying to cross it to a Volvo code so I can give you more info.

 

To check your tranny fluid is sorta hard on a volvo, i drive a 01 model, maybe yours might be different, but to check the fluid there will be a yellow handle thingy below the air filter box and a bit to the left, you might need 2 move a hose to get ur hand in there. let me know
