Turbo Not kicking in

![Question](https://volvoforums.com/forum/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have two 01 Volvo S60 T5's and one 02 Volvo V70 T5. The Gold S60 and the V70 both kickbut on the lowend like they are getting a shot of Nitro but my Blue S60 just accelerates at fair but not exciting rate of speed.
I have previously replaced Ignition coil 1 & 3, and then the other day replaced 2, 4& 5 to see if there the problem existed. I added some Lucas fuel injection/upper engine cleaner additive to my gas which I filled with thie highest Octane available.
It does drive better now, but still no lowend kick like the other two.
Can anyone out there please tell me if you have had similar experiences and what you have done to resolve. Also if you tried something that didn't work, that may be valuable too so that I do not waste any more dinero.
Thank you for your time and interest.

Sound like the TCV "turbo control valve or Turbo Boost Pressure Solenoid " This hangs on the air box i believe on a 01 and has 3 Vacum lines leading to it.First check for loose lines and bubles or cracks in them.If they look ok it may be worth replacing it .In most cases when the boost from the turbo is low or even gone this is the issue. This little box controls when and how much boost is allowed.

I would also look at replacing the spark plugs if you have not done so in the last 10,000 miles or so.I had an issue with a bad Coil pack and chased the issue for a month and it was not just a bad pack it was also a bad plug. One other thing i would try is getting some CRC Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner and clean the MAF sensor. If you have a AutoZone or a like store near you have them check for stored codes. Its free and cant hurt. There may be something stored that you are not seeing.GL

Yes AutoZone where i live has it if not i know that Advanced Auto does also.As far as cleaning it unplug it, then remove the clamp from the hose and take it off the Airbox Intake. It takes a little force to get it off the first time.Use the small straw that comes with the cleaner and really spray down the sensor. You will see it in the middle of the MAF .When i say really spray it use 15 + sprays.Start at the top and spray it to the bottom .Let it dry 5 mins or so and that's it.Just make sure you are careful that stuff will light up like a bomb it a spark gets near it.Dont use cleaner while MAF is still plugged in or connected to the car.
