I own only Volvos, but am new to the S60 - just bought an AWD 2002 for my son.

Two questions:

1) I noticed that just behind the rear axles the exhaust system is supported by what looks like a bent round metal rod that inserts into two oval-shaped heavy rubber bumpers. The support rod is broken on both sides at the exhaust pipe. It appears to be pinched by a bracket on the pipe as opposed to being welded to it. Is that part replaceable? If no, what do I do?

2) Now for a dumb question. Under the spare tire is a white plastic thing that appears designed to hold the jack. I can see that the jack handle goes in the rounds indents, but I cannot figure out for the life of me how the jack itself is supposed to fit. Help!
