put all my music on a 4G USB2 stick FAT32. All MP3.
Was using it fine for a week, shuffle, all good.

Bought a new 8G USB2 drive FAT32 and put all the music on it.
Sees and plays the music but will only shuffle by artist.

Put the old drive in, same thing. Shuffle has disappeared.
Ideas?

 

took it to the dealer on Fri. They reset from the computer (I assume their computer, not the cars). All good.

 

happened again today after I did some editing on the drive. That apparently makes it stoopit.
so I backed up and opened the the sub-folder called Tracks. After the scan was done I started shuffle again and it worked. Dunno if that would have fixed it the first time.
Time will tell when tmrw comes ......eh?
