Looking for new brakes for a 2015.5 V60. Based on experience, I'm partial to the Akebono Euro pad/ Brembo disk combination. Parts suppliers list multiple disk sizes for this model - 300, 315, 316 and 326 mm. Is there any way to tell from the VIN which size is fitted? (I do not have a convenient place to pull a wheel and measure)

Did you offer your VIN to the parts supplier? Generally the different brake sizes are associated to a model (ie a T vs R) so the VIN may help as it indicates the powertrain specifics. Since the car is new, a quick call to your dealer's parts dept would probably be able to tell you straight up.
