Volvo 2002 s60 AWD riding rough
Hi all. Thanks in advance for the help.
I'm wondering if anyone else had had the issue I have, or knows of anyone who has, and what my best bet might be.
I have a Volvo 2002 s60 AWD, which I bought used a few months ago, and it drove great when I first bought it. A couple weeks after I had it, it started riding really rough. It idles rough, and bounces, slightly, the whole time it's idling, and doesn't have much power, which causes the transmission to rev up from the loss of power, when driving. I took it to a local mechanic to see what he thought about it, and he thinks there is a "bad cylinder" (he made this diagnosis just from driving it, not from the codes at all) but after digging some more, I'm hoping it might be more simple/less expensive.
These are the codes I am pulling for it:
P0305: Code Misfire Detected in #5 Cylinder
P0134: Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1, Sensor 1)
P0030: HO2S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 1)
First off, does anyone have an immediate reaction/suggestion? Secondly, are #the 2nd two codes the same exact part? As in, the whole problem might mainly be from that one part?
Thanks very much for any help! I am a single mom trying to figure all of this out on my own.

P0305 and the symptoms is a bad coil pack. Very common and an easy fix. Volvo Parts, BMW Parts, European Car Parts | FCPGroton.com for the coil packs and they are located under the top plastic piece on the engine. remove plastic piece Unplug the electrical connection then remove the 2 10mm bolts and slid the pack out. I always suggest replacing all 5. When 1 goes that means the rest are OTW.But if $$ is tight just replace #5 While you are in there replace the spark plugs with OME. The other codeP0134 are an O2 sensor bank 1 is the front sensor. Is there a check engine light ?? After you replace the coil pack clear the codes and see if they come back. When the engine is misfiring it can cause other codes. GL
Thank you for your reply. That helps a lot. I will have to do just one for now, on the 5th one that's bad, so do I need one of these?
Volvo S60 Ignition Coil- Volvo Parts
Is that the right thing?
The check engine lights are not on, but they were at one point. When I bought the car, I cleared the codes because it wasn't acting up, then it started acting up about 2 weeks later. The check engine light has never come back on, but the car runs like crap, so I pulled all the codes from it, and got these 3.
I posted this on another forum, and a guy told me to concentrate on the 02 sensor first since two codes are coming up for it, but I think I'll try the coil first.
