I am new to this forum and seeking information. I have been a Honda owner for many many years. However, I am looking to purchase a 2006 or 2007 Volvo S60 sedan. Seems like an awesome vehicle. My concern is that I have heard that Volvo has had a problem with their cars eletrical systems shutting the engine, tranny and everything else down. I did ask the salesman about it and he does not ever recall this happening. Does anyone have any information on this?? This has delayed my new car purchase[/b]. [/b] [/b] [/b]

 

I have never heard of this either. Are you sure it is electrical systems? Or an electronic part like the ETM?

 

Since the car is on a Network for all the computers if something happens to one it can mess with the other ones.
The early cars had the ABS module problems. That is about it.
