Volvo Personal Communicator Auto Off?
Hi there. I have a 2012 Volvo S60 with Personal Communicator. The other day, I came home and accidentally walked inside the house with the key in my pocket and the car still running. Luckily, a few minutes later, I realized that I had not turned the car off.
My question is, is the car smart enough to turn itself off after idling for x mins? I know it displays a message that the car key has been removed from the car while it's running but will it actually turn itself off after a while? I dread the day when I accidentally leave it on overnight!
Thanks!

Leaving It Running
It is very easy to leave your car running with the keyless start function. If you are in a hurry and/or you park in a noisy location, you may not hear the engine idling. I don't believe the car will shut itself off, primarily because the doors are not locked.
Get in the habit of locking your doors as you exit your vehicle. If the car engine is still running, the car will not lock. A dead give away is that the DRLs will remain on as well.
I'm just thankful I have an engine this quiet!
