volvo s60 2003 awd 2,5T europe version - oil volume
Hi all,
yday, I had my car serviced at authorized Volvo service station. After I came back and let the car cool down about an hour, I checked the engine oil level and found out that the dip stick shows about 1,2 cm ABOVE the maximum limit.
I assume they poured in about 6,8 l of oil. Now, can anyone tell me if I can drive the car or should I go back and let them reduce the oil level to the 5,5 l (which is the recommended oil volume according to my manual)
this really frightens me... thanks for help.

If the oil is over just a few cm. it will be ok, im guessing it is only overfull by less than 1/4 of a quart which will not inflict any damage to the engine. If it makes your feel better though im sure they will take a bit out for you if you go back...
