Volvo s60 self inflicted DTCS
Hi, please help help!!. First and foremost, I must admit that I made a very rookie mistake but it was one of those moments in life.
My S60 2003 is in excellent conditions and I am at 208k kms, never had an issue with it with proper maintenance. However, the odometer bulb went out and I decided to change it, I removed the dashboard and replaced the bulb in the interim I admit again (guilty) I started the engine and moved the car a few meters/yards, this is where I think all went south. I assume the ECM (which did not have the dashboard connected) went completely out of synch and I now have the orange triangle in the center always on and I pulled the DTCS and many of them are activated. I have made several attempts to reset or clear the DTCS's but very unsuccessful. No other warning is on, the engine light is off, the SRS light is off and so one but the display always has "Engine system service required"
Those of you who are experts on this, what options do I have?. I already disconnected the battery, remove the fuses, try clearing the DTCs with a reader but no luck!
please help, I love this car and I hate seeing this message and light always on.
