Volvo s60 turbo charger

Greetings. I know this is an old thread, but upgrading or adding a turbo in any car can be very expensive, and time consuming, and will require a lot more upgrading, preparation, and necessary customization than you may think.
In your case, trading in your S60 for any turbocharged model (2.4T/2.5T, T3, T5) or maybe even finding a used S60R would probably be your least costly (and safer) options.
Take a look at all three parts of this Mazda Miata being turbocharged just to see how difficult this can be---even for a car that appears turbo-upgrade-ready:

P.S. Trust me; I have a base 2001 S60. I love it too much to trade it in, but I really wish it had a turbo, as well...just not a really big one.
