On my '05 T5 the driver's window is acting up. When you hit the switch for auto closed, the window goes up... hits the top then immediately returns to the full open position. It was kinda funny to watch the first couple of times. Up... down, up... down. Now it's just annoying. I figure this must be a malfunction of the safety feature designed to keep you from smashing/severing something soft like a finger or hand. It will go to full closed and stay there if you hold the switch in the close position until after the window has gone all the way up.

Anyone out there have any experience troubleshooting and fixing this gremlin?

OH yea, take it the dealer and ask them to re-intialize it for you. No $.
