Default What is needed to make my car run smooth

I have a 2001 S60 2.4t that has a clunking in the front suspension on both sides. I have been told I need sway bar links and upper and lower control bushings. The ride when I hit a pothole or cross a RR track is terrible and I can hear what sounds like metal to metal contact. They showed me that the rubber bushing was gone. Both front tires are wearing on the inside. Can anyone tell me what should be replaced on a 170,000 mile Volvo on the front suspension and where is the best place to buy the parts? All answers are appreciated. Thanks

You could need the control arm bushings, sway bar links, and spring seats.
I would have to look at the car myself to tell you exactly.

But check FCP on the prices.
