Darn. It was dark with minimal light from the house and I wanted to top off the coolant. I was watching but the G5 type matched what was already in there and isn't much darker than the reservoir and all of the sudden it went to the top of the neck.

I took a rag, stuck it in the neck a bit and sopped a bit out. I am assuming that the hose at the top of the neck is for any overflow.

It is 25F outside and too cold to play around with any sucking devices. It isn't filled according to protocol but I think it will be ok?

 

It will be fine.

 

It will probably puke some out as the coolant gets hot and expands but certainly won't hurt anything.
