Hi i have a 2008 volvo 2.5t and i was wondering with 18 wheels and an eibach pro kit if there will be problems with rub

what makes wheels rub is altering the factory rim width and offset - so the question is what 18s are you planning to run? To get an idea of what the factory sizes are, a good resource is wheel-size.com. For a 2008 S60, the recommended set up is 235/40-18 tires on an 8JX18ET49 rim. Lowering the car by an inch or so should not create rub issues with these wheels but will change suspension geometry - not sure what's adjustable on your car other than toe...
