A brand new 2020 Volvo v60 T6 owner here from Canada... look for winter tires/snow tire. Wonder if anyone has experience of the Volvo winter wheel kits? Is it recommended to just purchase the Volvo winter wheel kit (functionality, quality and cost perspective), link below or shop online for oem rims and tires separately (save some $$$)? I would likely prefer

specs for the rims can be found at wheel-size.com - nothing special for the 2020s, ie 5x108s, 63.4 center bore, ET40-45s depending on rim size 17-20s work.
Here's a good selection of OEM replacement rims:

Also, the 17" wheels can be used for the 2020 v60 T6? I thought 18" is the smallest one that fits to have proper clearance...

Volvo matches wheels to trim packages so they may not offer a 17s for a T6 in a given market - that's not to say with certainty the wheels won't fit over the rotors - other trim models such at a T5 for the V60s do show 17s as an option in other markets. Have you tried calling a dealer or wheels store to see if they can talk to the fit for your car? Worst case is you go with a nice set of 18s.

Yes, I have a 2021 T60 S60 with the 19" OEM wheel option with Pirelli all-season.
I'm coming from a 2006 Acura TL (FWD) that I ran 3rd party winter rims with Bridgestone Blizzak which were outstanding. Between the FWD and the Blizzaks, I never had any problems in a NE USA winter.
With the T6 AWD, even with 19" rims and all-season, I'll get decent performance in snow. But I'd really like to put performance tires on the 19" and downsize to 18" or 17" (if 17 fit) with snow tires for winter.
However, TireRack, also my go-to, doesn't list sizing for wheels on the 2020 or 2021, which is odd. I emailed and they replied the below, which kind of sounds like BS... these cars have been out there for ~ 2+ years....
"Thanks for your question to The Tire Rack. I’m sorry but we have not yet had a chance to measure the 2020 S60 R. Until that happens we will not have this information available on our website. as soon as we can find one that we can measure we will, but these cars are scarce"

Can I mention two magical words? "Take-offs"
With that phrases as the search item, I just purchased a set of wheels and tires matching the wheels that came on our 2020 V60CC. They came from another V60CC on a dealer's lot — the customer wanted a different size wheel and the wheels and tires were essentially brand new (the tires still have the little rubber sprues on them). Even with shipping across the country, I paid about 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of buying the same wheels and tires "new."
I've tucked the take-offs away on my tire rack. They'll ultimately be my non-winter wheels. Meanwhile, I'll drive around on the wheels that came with the car and will probably be ready to replace the tires with Bridgestone Blizzaks for the arrival of the next winter season.
