Does anyone have direct experience with dongles/adapters that actually work with this Volvo? I have an Ottocast for my 2022 MB A35 that works, but I get a blank screen when I try it in the Volvo. Perhaps there is a firmware update, but I haven’t taken it that far yet.

 

Last year, I installed a CarPlay module to upgrade my XC90 to full-screen CarPlay, and it's been working well so far. I'm not sure if your blank screen issue is related to the wiring, but when installing the module, the LVDS cable adapter can affect the screen display. Firmware updates may not necessarily solve the problem. Currently, I'm considering replacing it with a new CarPlay module that not only supports full-screen CarPlay and Android Auto but also allows direct use of the original car audio source and microphone. It seems like a better upgrade. If anyone has tried this model, please share your experience.
