1998 S70 A/C won't turn off
I noticed today that my 1998 S70 Air Conditioner won't turn off even I press the power button and the light is off. If I press it again, it turns green. But the A/C always on as long as the fan is on. I recently bought a Multi Rib Belt from FCP Groton and have my Volvo independent shop installed it, could it be the reason? Or the switch need to replace? If so, how much for the switch and how difficult to replace it myself? Thanks.
I had the same thing happen to me in my 850R. All you need to do is get a new A/C control module. I found one on ebay for under $50 and it was super easy to install. All you do is pull out the radio (don't even worry about disconnecting it) and then reach in and pop the A/C module out. Then just disconnect the 2 plugs and hook up your new one. Then just slide it back in, and slide your radio in and you're all set.
