Default 1998 S70 manual transmission, starting in gear

1998 S70 with manual transmission is starting in gear! Does this car have a neutral safety switch? Alldata does not show one on the wiring diagram for a manual transmission, only the automatic transmission. If it does, where is it?

Welcome to the forum Delsa.

Checkthe switch off the clutch pedal, under the dash.
Fix it soon, it's a safety issue.

Volvo didn't add the neutral safety switch till 1999 or 2000.

Damn, I was caught dolling out mis-information again.

Must be 1999, mine has one.
